CHANGE A MILLION LIVES, THEY SAID, THAT’S OUR MISSION!

This was the dream request from leading ‘tech for good’ app development agency 3 Sided Cube. 

So we put on our thinking caps to devise something to help them deliver just that.

If they were a standard tech agency, they would probably use the standard techniques to market their business – lead generation, networking, paid ads and more – and yes, we did some of the standard stuff.

But 3 Sided Cube are not a standard agency. To change a million lives, we felt they needed an approach that elevated their position in the market, whilst positively supporting people and the planet.

And so, Ignite was born.

A MOVEMENT TO DRIVE CHANGE THROUGH TECHNOLOGY

Ignite was created as the new campaigning arm of the agency.

Ignite was designed to start a social movement to tackle the waste crisis. Ignite was going to evolve over time to take on other issues as they come to the forefront.

Collaborating with the 3 Sided Cube and partners throughout, the brand came to life. Launching in Recycling Week, we leveraged social advertising to make all those eco-hero’s out there aware using video ads, outreach and organic posting.

Success! We built a community of 40k followers in just 8 short weeks, ahead of schedule and spending less than planned.

IGNITE WAS MAKING A DIFFERENCE

The next stop was to leverage their support and find out how they felt about waste recycling.

To understand what help they needed to do it better and how technology could support this.

We crafted surveys to encourage the retailers and brands involved and prepared a prepared a freedom of information request to determine the government stance.

DEVELOPING TECH FOR GOOD

So, where are we now?

3 Sided Cube have started to conceptualise the technology and are working on a new, innovative app to help the waste problem. We’re planning to power up the community to help us with the user-testing too.

A hack weekend is planned to build the app and the Cube Crew are making the technology open source to enable any developer interested in being involved. A shiny and new ‘For Good Event’ is planned to launch the Ignite tech and we’re inviting a raft of awesome brands to demonstrate the amazing things they are doing too.

This will be our opportunity to showcase Ignite and show the world what’s been achieved here. As this is an agency living true to its mission.
